Welcome to Shechen Center

Vision of Shechen Center

Initiated by Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche, Shechen Centre in Hong Kong upholds Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche's vast aspiration to preserve the Dharma and its culture, while meeting the modern city's longing for compassionate wisdom. The Shechen Centre's vision includes mainly :

• Beacon of the Dharma: providing people of diverse backgrounds with a home and support for practice.

• Garden of Wisdom and Compassion: cultivating the values of discipline, insight, and altruism.

• Bridge between Tradition and Modernity: bringing Himalayan wisdom into contemporary life.

• Platform for Exchange and Service: introducing mindfulness with love and compassion and promoting understanding of wisdom and compassion through various activities, meditation, art exhibitions and international cultural exchanges

Thus the Shechen Centre is not only a place for Dharma activity but also a modern Dharma Hub that nurtures mindfulness, inner growth and harmony in the city.
